Wabi Sabi
Wabi-Sabi is one of the very few Japanese incenses to combine the ingredients
of Reiryo-koh and Kansho.
Lysimachiae herba (Reiryo-koh) is native to northern regions of South America;
the sensoric qualities of this plant range from subtle-sweet to spicy.
Spikenard (Kansho), a root which offers a sweet, woody scent, has been used as
a spice for centuries. An ingredient of traditional Japanese incense, Spikenard
is mainly produced in China, the Himalayas, and the mountains of northeast India.
The Wabi-Sabi package is a convenient slim style with a clear sleeve over the
handsome grey label and gold box, and is attractive enough to give as a gift.
